the American Institute we recognize Attorney and Law Firms striving for excellence. Very few Attorneys can display our badges on their website or display the plaque in their office. Some States depending on size and population density may be broken up into City or Region to be more applicable to potential new clients who utilize this site when looking for an Attorney and/or Law Firm.
Many aspects of the Attorney and his/her career are considered including but not limited to the below. We take these factors into account, but they are not the only considerations we evaluate. Additionally, the importance of each factor can vary, with some potentially carrying more weight than others.
- Must be nominated/selected by the Institute based on our research, a Client, and/or a Peer
- Must have a satisfactory Client Rating rating
- Must not be subject to any open/outstanding Attorney Grievance Committee discipline
- Must be a member in Good Standing of their State Bar
- Must have satisfactory Client/Peer Reviews
- Possess Advanced Degrees
- Awards received
- Professional Associations and their activity in such Associations
- Publications in their field
- Speaking engagements in their field
Please note that an Attorney or Law Firm may accept online list inclusion without paying the Registration Fee by emailing us a request to [email protected]. However, in this case, the Attorney or Law Firm will be listed on the site only and not receive the other Membership Benefits (plaque, badge, etc.). We ask that each Attorney/Firm member strive to continually improve in their craft, strive to achieve excellence in their practice and day to day interaction with their clients to ensure the highest degree of Client Satisfaction, work to resolve any issues that may arise with clients and seek an amicable solution, and to maintain good standing in their State Bar. We also ask as part of being listed that you notify us immediately if there are anything that may effect your status of your listing. At American Institute we strive to ensure that each member and member-invite are the most qualified. If you feel that you or an member listed have been incorrectly listed, nominated, and/or see a member listed that you feel may be incorrect or that we may not have considered pertinent and/or unknown information, please email us at [email protected].
